My Weight Matters
My Weight Matters is a FREE weight management programme for adults which follows NHS guidance and is evidence based. It focuses on eating a healthy balanced diet, managing your portions and helping you be more active in your daily life. My Weight Matters is not a 'diet' and not a quick fix solution. The aim of the programme is to support you to lose weight in a safe, steady and controlled way and help you to change unhealthy habits for healthier ones.
Our aim is to help you build your skills, knowledge and confidence to manage your weight effectively.

Is this for me?
This programme is intended for use by healthy adults (age 18+) with a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or over. It is not suitable for children or pregnant women. If you have a medical condition you should consult your GP (doctor) before starting. Find out if you need to lose weight by using the BMI healthy weight calculator.
Set your target
Our aim is to help you work towards 10% or 5% of your starting weight. You may want to lose more weight than this but you are more likely to keep it off if you aim for a smaller loss initially.
